CPD Workshop – Systemic Supervision – practices from Systemic Constellations
Saturday 14 November 2026
10:00 – 16.30
Venue: CCPE London
Cost: £180
Facilitated by Paul Heardman and Becky Hall
This one-day workshop will explore ideas and practices from Systemic Constellations in a supervision context. Systemic Constellations comes from the work of Bert Hellinger. It provides a somatic and insightful way of looking at human relational systems, and the (often hidden) dynamics and patterns within them. This gives us a different lens, for example, on symptoms. It suggests these may be a system’s attempt to address imbalances caused by systemic entanglements, hidden loyalties or exclusions. Systemic Constellations can enable supervisors and supervisees to notice more about what may be happening under the surface.
The workshop will provide an accessible overview of how the Constellations approach can deepen the power of the supervision process. For example, helping us notice more about how ‘stuck’ dynamics may play out in supervision. There will be opportunities for both small and large group work and as well as insights on how you can apply these principles in 1-2-1 supervision work.
Paul Heardman is a systemic coach and supervisor. Paul first encountered Systemic Constellations through John Whittington, while completing an MSc in Coaching at Henley Business School. Over the last 12 years, Paul has trained extensively in this approach, notably with Lynn Stoney and with the Centre for Systemic Constellations. Paul has an Advanced Diploma in Jungian Psychology. He sits on the board of EMCC UK as Director for Supervision Practice. And he writes a regular column on supervision for Coaching at Work Magazine. He was awarded Coaching at Work’s Prize for Outstanding Contribution to Coaching and Supervision in 2023.
Becky Hall is a systemic coach, supervisor, facilitator and author. Becky came across systemic constellations in 2016 and subsequently trained with John Whittington. Since 2019 she’s been a teacher for John’s Coaching Constellations faculty. Becky has also journeyed deeply with family systemic constellations work, primarily with her teacher and supervisor Lynn Stoney and with Dan Cohen. Becky is an EMCC Master Practitioner coach with 25 years’ experience. Her book, The Art of Enough; 7 ways to Build a Balanced Life and a Flourishing World, takes a systemic lens on how we can be, do and have enough in our complex world, moving from striving to thriving.
